CEO
Ren is a former FBI Supervisory Agent with over 20 years of experience driving innovation and growth in both public and private sectors. During his FBI tenure, Ren developed and implemented a proactive global strategy to combat international money laundering, foreign bribery, and kleptocracy. In 2018, he joined Exiger as Managing Director/Executive Committee Member, focusing on financial crime engagements for multinational corporations, government agencies, financial institutions, and law firms, specializing in internal investigations and risk management through AI-powered solutions. Four years later, he founded TrustStorm, a financial crime compliance firm that supports clients from leading law firms, global corporations, and financial institutions in meeting regulatory requirements and mitigating financial crime risk. Ren has also been featured in Bloomberg Law, with his article “How to Recover Assets Lost to Cryptocurrency Theft and Fraud” showcasing his expertise in asset recovery and financial crime prevention.
COO & GC
Robert specializes in representing both foreign and U.S. companies and individuals in cross-border matters, including cryptocurrency fraud, asset recovery, whistleblower claims, and defending clients before U.S. regulatory agencies. With over 14 years at the DOJ as a senior and later supervisory federal prosecutor, Robert led numerous high-profile international fraud and corruption cases, as well as money laundering and international trade prosecutions. He has also been featured in the New York Law Journal with his article “Cryptocurrency Fraud: Trends, Challenges and Recovery” demonstrating his deep expertise in the field of cryptocurrency fraud and recovery.
CSO
Adam is a seasoned executive with over 20 years in technology and risk management. He brings extensive experience to Knexus from his previous roles, including Chief Strategy Officer at Torch.AI, President of Exiger Federal Government Solutions, CEO of Convergent Solutions, and Vice President at General Dynamics‘ information technology business. At Convergent Solutions, Adam guided the company to a successful acquisition by Exiger, delivering substantial returns for stakeholders. At Exiger, he led the Federal Solutions division, significantly expanding the business within two years. He also launched and led a social media data firm to acquisition, demonstrating his exceptional leadership and strategic vision.
Product Lead
Michael has over 7 years of experience in blockchain, data analytics, building data retrieval and data display tools. In 2019, he co-founded a web3 enabled platform that aggregated thousands of sources from around the web using AI topical tagging, scoring, and summaries. The platform gathered data from a variety of sources including news outlets, media streams, publications, patents, and SEC filings to provide AI generated summaries and curated feeds. This platform was acquired by a private company in 2022.
